How to Pay Your MSEDCL Electricity Bill Online: Steps, Discounts of Up to 1.25% and How to Download a Duplicate Bill
Pay your MSEDCL bill online through the Mahavitaran app or website using your 12-digit consumer number. Paying within 7 days digitally earns up to 1.25% off.

You can pay your MSEDCL electricity bill online on the Mahavitaran website (wss.mahadiscom.in) or the official Mahavitaran mobile app using your 12-digit consumer number, or through UPI and banking apps. Paying within seven days of the bill date earns a 1% prompt payment discount, and paying digitally adds 0.25% more, capped at ₹500.

How to pay online
- Open the Mahavitaran app or the MSEDCL consumer portal.
- Choose “Quick Bill Pay” (no login needed) or log in to your account.
- Enter your 12-digit consumer number and select your billing unit if asked.
- Check the amount and due date, then pay by UPI, debit or credit card, net banking or wallet.
- Save the payment receipt or transaction ID.
You can also pay through UPI apps such as BHIM, Google Pay or PhonePe under “Electricity” by choosing MSEDCL or “Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution” as the biller.

Download a duplicate bill
On the Mahavitaran website or app, choose “View/Pay Bill” or “Bill Download”, enter your consumer number and billing unit, and download the PDF. Registered users can also see bill history for previous months.
