PM Kisan e-KYC: How to Complete It Online With OTP or Face Authentication, Check Beneficiary Status and Fix a Stopped Instalment
Complete PM Kisan e-KYC online with an Aadhaar OTP on pmkisan.gov.in or by face authentication on the app. Check your status and fix common reasons instalments stop.

You can complete PM Kisan e-KYC online in two ways: with an Aadhaar OTP on pmkisan.gov.in, or by face authentication using the PM Kisan mobile app. Biometric e-KYC is also available at a Common Service Centre. Without e-KYC, instalments of ₹2,000 stop, and in Maharashtra the state’s Namo Shetkari payment stops too.
Method 1: OTP e-KYC on the website
- Open pmkisan.gov.in and click e-KYC.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and search.
- Enter the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile.
- You will see a message that e-KYC is complete.
This needs your mobile number to be linked with Aadhaar.
Method 2: face authentication on the app
- Install the PM Kisan app and the Aadhaar FaceRD app from the Play Store.
- Log in with your registration number or Aadhaar.
- Choose e-KYC and scan your face when asked.
This works even if your mobile is not linked to Aadhaar.
Method 3: biometric at a CSC
Visit a Common Service Centre with your Aadhaar. The operator completes e-KYC with your fingerprint for a small fee.
Check beneficiary status
On pmkisan.gov.in, open Know Your Status, enter your registration number (or use Know your registration number with Aadhaar or mobile), and see e-KYC, land seeding and Aadhaar bank seeding status, along with instalments paid.
