All five India vs New Zealand ODIs start at 7:30 am IST. They are day-night matches that begin at 3 pm local time in New Zealand, which is seven and a half hours ahead of India in November because of New Zealand’s daylight saving time. The first ODI is at Eden Park, Auckland, on Wednesday, 4 November 2026, so Pune fans can watch the first innings with morning tea and catch the finish around lunchtime.

The series follows the five-match T20I series, which India won 3-2 despite losing the last match in Hamilton on 1 November.

New Zealand are led by Mitchell Santner for all five matches. Their squad for the first three games includes Devon Conway, Tom Latham, Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips, Matt Henry, Kyle Jamieson and Tim Seifert, who hit 93 in the final T20I.

The Pune and Maharashtra angle

Pune’s own Ruturaj Gaikwad is in both ODI squads, giving Maharashtra fans a reason to set the alarm. Fast bowler Yash Thakur, who has played domestic cricket for Vidarbha, joins for the last two matches. With Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli both in the squad, the battle for the opening and middle-order spots will be one to watch.
