Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana gives eligible Maharashtra farmers ₹6,000 a year in three ₹2,000 instalments, on top of the ₹6,000 from PM Kisan. There is no separate registration: if you are an active PM Kisan beneficiary in Maharashtra, you are covered. Check your payment status on nsmny.mahait.org using your Aadhaar or registration number.

Together, the two schemes give ₹12,000 a year to small farmers.

Who is eligible

  • A permanent resident farmer of Maharashtra with cultivable land in their name
  • An active PM Kisan beneficiary with e-KYC completed
  • Land records seeded and bank account linked with Aadhaar for direct transfer
  • Not eligible: income tax payers, institutional landholders, and serving or retired government employees covered by PM Kisan’s exclusions

Recent instalments

The 7th instalment was released in September 2025, about ₹1,892 crore to roughly 91.65 lakh farmers, and the 8th in March 2026, about ₹1,768 crore to roughly 84 lakh farmers, according to published scheme updates. The date of the next instalment had not been officially announced at the time of writing. It usually follows soon after a PM Kisan instalment.

How to check your status

  1. Open nsmny.mahait.org.

  3. Enter your Aadhaar number or PM Kisan registration number and the captcha.
