To get a passport in Pune, apply on passportindia.gov.in or the mPassport Seva app, pay the fee online, book an appointment, and visit the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) with your original documents. Note that Pune’s main PSK moved on 30 March 2026 from Mundhwa to Mont Claire Building on Baner-Pashan Link Road, Pashan.

A normal passport usually reaches you within a few weeks of a clear police verification.

New PSK address

  • Passport Seva Kendra, Pune: Mont Claire Building, S. No. 134/1, Commercial First Floor, Office No. 101 and 102, Baner-Pashan Link Road, Pashan
  • Applicants must go to the centre shown on their appointment slip; old slips naming Mundhwa are no longer valid for new appointments

Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSKs) in the region also take appointments; check the list when booking.

Step by step

  1. Register on passportindia.gov.in and log in.
  2. Fill in the application for a fresh passport or reissue.
  3. Pay the fee online and pick an appointment slot at your chosen centre.
  4. Visit with originals and self-attested copies. Arrive 15 minutes before your slot.
  5. Police verification happens at your address, usually after the PSK visit. Keep your phone reachable.
  6. Track your application and the dispatch on the portal or app.

  • Proof of date of birth: birth certificate, school leaving certificate, Aadhaar or PAN, among others
