Pune, 1st November 2026: Chelsea beat Manchester United 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, piling more pressure on United manager Michael Carrick. For Pune’s big community of Premier League fans who stayed up late, it was a one-sided second half.
How the goals came
- 50th minute: Morgan Rogers went on a solo run into the box and finished past goalkeeper Senne Lammens.
- 63rd minute: Lisandro Martinez was sent off after a second yellow card for raising an arm to Wesley Fofana’s face, about three minutes after his first booking for a foul on Rogers.
- 64th minute: Cole Palmer converted the resulting penalty.
