Who should go

The show is aimed at buyers and engineers from manufacturing units. That fits the Pimpri-Chinchwad belt, home to Bhosari, Chakan, Talawade and Ranjangaon industrial areas and hundreds of small auto component suppliers to the big vehicle makers.

For a small workshop owner in Bhosari MIDC, a trade show is a chance to compare machine suppliers, see automation for small batches and meet vendors without travelling to Mumbai or Bengaluru. Students from engineering colleges in Akurdi, Nigdi and Talegaon often visit to see machines they study.

How to reach PIECC Moshi

PIECC is in Moshi, off the Pune-Nashik highway, north of Bhosari. Expect heavy traffic on the Nashik Phata to Chakan stretch at peak hours.

  • By car: Via Nashik Phata and Bhosari on the Pune-Nashik road. Allow extra time on weekday mornings.
  • By Metro: The nearest stations are on the PCMC to Swargate line. From PCMC Bhavan or Nashik Phata, take a cab or bus for the last stretch.
