SSC JE 2026: Exam City Slip Out; Paper 1 From November 2 To 6 For 1,699 Posts – Admit Card Update

Pune, 29th October 2026: The Staff Selection Commission has released the exam city intimation slip for SSC JE 2026 Paper 1 on ssc.gov.in. The computer-based exam will run from November 2 to 6, 2026, for 1,699 tentative vacancies.

The slip came out on October 23. Admit cards are expected two to three days before each candidate’s exam date.

Downloading the slip

Log in on ssc.gov.in with your registration number and password. On the dashboard, open the JE Paper 1 city intimation link, check your city and date, and save a copy.

Keep in mind that this slip only tells you the city and date. It isn’t your admit card and won’t get you into the exam hall. The admit card, with the exact centre address and reporting time, comes later.

For candidates in Pune

Centres can be anywhere in the city or on its outskirts, so check the address as soon as the admit card is out and work out how long it’ll take to get there. Leave plenty of buffer for traffic. Carry the admit card and an original photo ID as listed in SSC’s instructions.

Separately, reports say the JE (Telecommunication) exam is scheduled for November 30 and December 1, 2026.

The last few days

This isn’t the time to start new topics. Go over formulas and core concepts from your branch, and try to fit in at least two full-length mock tests under exam conditions. Don’t neglect General Intelligence and General Awareness either; those marks count just as much.
