How NEET PG counselling works
MCC conducts counselling for 50% All India Quota seats in government colleges, along with seats in central and deemed universities. The remaining 50% state quota seats are filled by state counselling authorities. In Maharashtra, this is done through the state CET Cell’s PG medical counselling. MCC normally holds several rounds, including a stray vacancy round, for seats that remain empty.
Tips for candidates
- Report before the deadline. Missing the reporting window can mean losing the seat.
- Understand upgrade rules before deciding whether to opt for the next round.
