Pune, 29th October 2026: Students who wrote the CA Foundation September 2026 exam are still waiting for a result date. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has not announced one yet. Based on past trends and reports, results are likely in early November.
The exams were held on September 2, 5, 7 and 9.
Ignore the forwards
Dates ranging from October 31 to the second week of November have been circulating on WhatsApp and Instagram. None of them comes from ICAI. The institute normally announces the date and time a few days ahead on its website and official social media handles, so that’s where to look.
How to check the result
When it’s out, go to caresults.icai.org (icai.nic.in will also carry the link), choose CA Foundation September 2026, and enter your registration number, roll number and the captcha. Download the result and keep a copy.
Passing marks
You need at least 40% in each paper and 50% overall across the four papers.
After the result
If you’ve cleared it, you can register for CA Intermediate and start planning for the next cycle. If not, look at which papers pulled your score down and plan the next Foundation attempt around them. ICAI usually allows candidates to apply for verification of marks after results; check the official notice for the deadline.
