Accuracy and verification
- We verify facts using official sources (for example PMC, PCMC, Pune Police, IMD, SPPU and Government of Maharashtra announcements), first-hand information and credible publications.
- We clearly attribute information to its source and link to original documents where possible.
- Developing stories are labelled and updated as new information becomes available.
Originality
We write our own articles. When we report a story first covered by another outlet, we add original information or context and credit the original source. We do not copy or auto-publish content from other websites.
Fairness and independence
- We report without political bias and try to include relevant sides of a story.
- Advertisers and sponsors have no influence over our news coverage.
- Sponsored or partner content is clearly labelled as “Sponsored”.
Responsible reporting
We avoid sensational headlines and clickbait. We do not publish hate speech, graphic violence or content that encourages harm. We protect the privacy of victims and minors and follow Indian law in all our reporting.
Use of AI tools
We may use software tools to help with research, translation or grammar, but every article is reviewed, fact-checked and approved by a human editor before publishing.
