Why This Announcement Matters
Every year, it’s the same story — people from Bihar and Eastern UP working in Pune spend sleepless nights hunting for tickets around Diwali and Chhath. Most end up paying extra on tatkal or struggling with waitlisted tickets. This move by Central Railway is actually a big relief.
The Bottom Line
If you’re planning your trip home this Diwali or Chhath, this is your chance. Mark September 15 on your calendar, keep IRCTC open, and grab your seat before it’s gone.
Finally, after all the chaos of festival travel, this special train service could make going home a little smoother this year.
